Control Metrix has been celebrating an important milestone as part of our green initiatives; we have taken the first major step to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and cut our carbon footprint by investing in renewable energy generation at our main facility. We have recently partnered with a commercial solar power solutions specialist, Excel Energy and with their expertise, have installed solar panels on our commercial premises in Wellington. As a result, our office now operates fully with renewable energy and the excess energy produced is exported to the National Grid which will make a substantial contribution to offsetting the remainder of our company’s carbon footprint.
Excel Energy provided Control Metrix with a complete turnkey solution including the system design, installation work, configuration, commissioning and remote monitoring we are delighted with the results. Like so many of our customers, we are focused on ensuring a streamlined business so that excess, unnecessary cost isn’t passed onto our customers. Our energy costs are now negative and we are generating income from the excess energy generated.
